Learn about the threats to amphibians, reptiles, and their habitats in the Midwest from the experts in the field. Hear what PARC is doing to ?keep common species common? and find out how you can get involved. Meeting participants will determine the direction and goals of the Midwest PARC working groups (management, research, education/outreach, policy/regulation/trade, and inventory/monitoring) through the development of prioritized action plans for the conservation of Midwest amphibians and reptiles. Election of co-chairs for Midwest PARC will also take place during the meeting. Optional field trips led by local herpetologists will explore some of the ?herp hot spots? of the area.
